Annapurna Region

Himalayan
Jomsom Muktinath Trek - 14 days .
The Jomsom/Muktinath trek, renowned as a skyline trek, is one of the best in the Annapurna region. It follows the Kali Gandaki River valley between the soaring peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and then emerges north of the main Himalayan range onto the high desert of the Tibetan Plateau. This trek is highly recommended as an alternative to the longer trek around Annapurna. Here you can stay at lower altitudes and still have breathtaking views of the mountains. The final destination of the trek is the holy temple of Muktinath, the sacred pilgrimage of Hindus and Buddhists. You return to Pokhara either by stepping down into the Kali Gandaki valley or flying from Jomsom. This easy trek can be done any time of the year except monsoon season.
