Social Journey offers exclusive educational adventure trips to schools, universities and educational institutes for students of all ages and abilities, where participant take part in various activities as an outdoor laboratory for experiential learning within an educational structure. We aim to expand the horizons through travel and provide the best opportunities for first-hand experience, discover a new place, people and culture. During the time with us, students will live, learn, work, enjoy and discover together in a safe and supportive environment.

To make the trip most exciting and highly educational, homestay is offered. Students are put together in a community with local families with an excellent opportunity to get insight of the rural community and culture and get first hand information on a variety of issues including development activities in the mountain villages. Although the trip will be lead with by a native leader, who provides an in-depth understanding of the destinations, people, and culture we travel.

The program is designed to be a fun and easy trekking, rafting, jungle safari on elephant back, homestay in a mountain village and sightseeing of world heritage sites. The length and content of each program can be individually tailored to meet the needs and goals of any particular group. The Price Includes: Hotel accommodation on B & B, twin share basis (unless single has been requested) for the nights listed in the itinerary, welcome dinner, sight seeing tours as specified, all entry fees of heritage sites and  shrines,  all trekking arrangements including trekking permits, national park entrance fees, best available accommodation in local lodges (twin share basis), all meals during the trek, guides, porters and all surface transportation on tourist standard or private vehicle.

 

The Price does not Include: International and domistic airfares and airport taxes, personal expenditure, bar bills, laundry, telephone calls, etc., all meals in Kathmandu and Pokhara other than breakfast, travel insurance, optional trips, charges incurred as a result of delays beyond Social Journeys control, anything not specified in the price includes section.
 

Single Supplement : Single supplements are payable if you specifically request to have a room to yourself. If you are a single person booking the trip you do not have to pay single supplements, if you are happy to share with another single client of the same gender.
